is currently seeking part-time ground drivers who are looking to join an award-winning transportation logistics company.
Drivers are responsible for safe and timely handling and delivery of packages to businesses and residential areas on their route.
Drivers enjoy independence on the road and develop a rewarding and enjoyable career incorporating customer service, road safety and driving skills.
Delivery Driver
Responsibilities:
Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.
Completion of all assigned delivery and pickup stops for the day.
Proper usage of hand held device to record all activity for the day.
Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.
Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages as well as follow directions and turn by turn maps.
Friendly to customers & team members.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older.
At least 12 months of commercial driving experience in the last 3 years is preferred.
(examples:
pizza delivery, mail delivery, parcel delivery, real estate, home healthcare, etc.
) A CDL is not required.
Must be able to pass DOT physical as well as a drug screen and criminal background check.
Must have a clean driving record.
Qualified individuals without experience will be considered for training programs.

Contingency Team:
As a part of Genesis Contingency, we go to various FedEx terminals in the country that are in need of extra assistance.
Due to the travelling nature of this job, we pay our drivers a GREAT salary to compensate them for being away from friends and family.
Pay:
Our starting pay is $250/day, with a $50 bump to $300/day after 30 successful work days.
Training pay is $125/day.
Full-pay begins when a trainee successfully completes training.
Training completion is decided by the lead manager.
Hotel costs are paid for by Genesis, Inc.
You will have your own hotel room.
Drivers are expected to work at least 5 days a week.
Expectations:
Scheduled work days are mandatory.
Deliver all assigned stops.
Help your fellow drivers as required by management.
We require 100% accuracy on package delivery.
The packages must be put in the correct place, in a safe manner.
Be able to lift and handle every package assigned to you.
(Up to 150lbs.
with the assistance of a dolly).
Complete monthly required safety courses.
Assigned quizzes are due before the start date.
Additional Rules:
To ensure the safety of our employees, and success of our work day, you are NOT permitted to travel on the day you're scheduled to work.
You will leave the following morning.
You are responsible for charging/maintenance of equipment assigned to you.
You must complete your pre-trip and post-trip inspection every day.
