Group Indirect Material Manager

The purpose of the Group Indirect Material Procurement Manager is to execute the indirect materials supply strategy by supporting our business units to manage the demand of products and services needed to delight our customers, being financially and socially responsible and driving standardization to leverage Belron's purchasing volume.
The Group Indirect Material Procurement Manager will provide leadership in his/her direct report(s) to create a positive climate, enabling the team to perform at their best and will bring expertise and support to our local businesses for local purchases.
This role has direct accountability to maintain an efficient supply base of competitive, flexible, and innovative indirect materials and services suppliers, committed to growing with Belron to deliver consistently superior customer service.
What You'll Do Pro-active leadership and accountability for all Indirect Procurement spend (excl.
IT&T) Further develop and mature the 'hybrid' procurement model where Group Category Experts support and collaborate with local indirect procurement Teams.
Leading and directing cost modelling and risk analysis to support the development of business cases through the approval process from inception of the initiative through to award of contract.
Leading and managing group, regional and local professional procurement category managers, vendor managers delivering a pro-active, professional, and highly commercial service, responsive to the needs of clients and operational service delivery through the sourcing procurement and vendor managers.
Leading matrix resources, including delivery, finance, operations teams, in regions and local business units to deliver effective performance and behavior management of suppliers that underpin vendor management.
Accountable for the delivery of the annual business plans for the indirect Materials spend (through management of category managers), duly signed off by the Head of Group Procurement and Regional Finance Directors.
Accountable for monthly Fit for Growth and quarterly Deep Dive sessions reporting of Group and business unit procurement results to the Executive leadership team, including spend development, delivered cost reductions, pipeline and cost avoidance.
Maintaining accurate and timely management and performance information to enable organization wide assessment of Indirect Materials procurement performance and direct responsibility for decisions affecting areas of spending under their responsibility.
This will include assessing and resolving issues and risks and upholding excellent standards of governance.
Supporting the development of Group, regional and local business cases particularly in respect of helping define non-recurring costs versus ongoing costs.
Supporting organization wide procedures for governance, risk and control that manage, mitigate, and minimize risks to the Group This will include assuming continuing accountability for decisions through these processes and ensuring on-going monitoring and review of performance.
Contribute to the establishment of a new way of working demonstrating the value of procurement, setting standards, reinforcing the enabling culture and approach, and embedding the implementation of category management across the organization, developing, and managing our key suppliers/partners.
Scan the market to identify new technology and or emerging partners to enable Innovation which will improve our efficiency in our process by connecting with Best-in-Class companies, External consultant, and Networking.
What You'll Need 10
years Relevant experience Required.
Experience of developing and leading high performing sourcing procurement teams and vendor management teams Has a full range of strategic management and leadership skills (Caring, Driven, Collaborative and Genuine) Ability to inspire and motivate a team through sharing and communicating vision and strategy.
Has a strong commercial understanding and passion for working collaboratively across business functions.
High degree of curiosity & strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence senior management, teams and individuals across multiple disciplines, and geographies both within Belron and within the supplier ecosystem.
Develops long-term strategic relationships with customers, partners, industry leaders.
Negotiation and contracting skills Proven effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and strategically important suppliers.
Understands, explains, and presents complex technical ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels up to the highest in a persuasive and convincing manner.

Willingness to challenge current practice.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Required.
